Sometimes plans change — no worries! Near Dukaan makes it easy to manage order cancellations for both Store Owners and Customers.
For Store Owners
1. How to Cancel a Customer's Order
- Login to your Store Dashboard.
- Go to Orders > Active Orders.
- Select the order you want to cancel.
- Click on “Cancel Order”.
- Provide a reason (optional but recommended) and confirm the cancellation.
- The customer will be notified immediately via SMS/Email.
2. Common Reasons to Cancel an Order
- Item out of stock.
- Store closed unexpectedly.
- Customer requested cancellation.
3. Refund Process (If applicable)
- If the customer paid online, initiate a refund immediately.
- Refunds usually take 5–7 business days to reflect in the customer’s account.

For Customers
1. How to Cancel Your Order
- Login to your Near Dukaan account.
- Go to My Orders.
- Find the order you want to cancel.
- Click “Cancel Order” (only available if the store has not started preparing your order).
- Confirm cancellation.
🚨 Note:Once the store starts preparing your order or marks it “Ready for Pickup/Delivery,” cancellation may not be allowed.
2. Cancellation Window
- Cancellation is allowed within a few minutes of placing the order.
- After that, you may need to contact the store directly to request cancellation.
